Effective 11 July 2026
ColorMuse ("the app", "we") turns your photos, descriptions and stories into personalised printable colouring books. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and what never leaves your device. ColorMuse is operated by CRE8T ("us"). Contact: [email protected].
Content you create. Names you type for a book's star, optional appearance selections (such as skin tone or hair style), optional photos you attach, and story text you write or paste. This content is used for exactly one purpose: generating your colouring pages.
Photos. If you attach a photo, it is read from your photo library only after you choose it, transmitted securely to our generation service for the pages of that book, and not retained by us after the pages are drawn. Photos are never used for advertising, profiling, or training our own models.
Purchase state. Whether you have purchased books or a subscription, so the app knows what you can create. Payments are processed entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
Generation requests are sent over encrypted connections to our backend (hosted by Supabase, in the United States), which forwards the page description — and your photo, if you attached one — to OpenAI, whose image model draws the line art. OpenAI processes this content as a service provider under its API data-usage terms, which do not permit using API content to train their models by default. Our servers do not keep a copy of your photos or stories after your pages are returned to your device.
ColorMuse is made for parents and other adults to create books for the children in their lives. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A child's name or photo appears in the app only because an adult chose to include it in a book they were making.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
